As our new Manufacturing Welder/Fabricator you will be part of a larger fabrication team that collaborates and motivates each other to design and create solutions to our manufacturing clients most demanding growth initiatives. Tasks And Responsibilities Communicate with supervisors to plan daily/weekly workload based on production schedule and project requirements Read and interpret fabrication blueprints and drawings Fabricate components to drawings accurately and in a timely manner Operate fabrication machinery including saws, shears, presses, drill presses, mag drills, ironworkers, grinders and welding equipment Inspect work regularly to ensure quality control standards are met Safely handle and move materials and components usings cranes, forklifts and rigging equipment Document changes through marking up drawings with redline Maintain proper PPE use and follow all OSHA and company safety policies Work with and train younger talent Maintain clean and organized work area Perform additional shop or field tasks as assigned to meet project deadlines Your starting point for constant growth From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is: 10+ years of relevant welding/fabricating experience Highly experienced with MIG, TIG, and Stick Welding Experience with Oxy-Fuel/Plasma cutting on structural steel and pipe Experience with Pipe Fitting and Welding to B31.3 (6G certification) Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and equipment Ability to read and understand fabrication blueprints & drawings Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and troubleshooting Commitment to reliability, efficiency, and high quality work Experience using overhead cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment Safety Minded, ability to work alone, with others Willing to travel for equipment installation and commissioning BONUS: AWS D1.1, ASTM A312 Stainless steel certification, experience with piping processes (fitting, welding, threading, etc.), operating metal fabrication machinery (press brakes, shears, rolls), machine maintenance and repair, experience with industrial mechanical equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc. What we can offer you Investment in your development Leaders you can count on, guided by our Leadership Principles Being valued for the unique person you are Never being short of inspiration from colleagues, clients, and projects The long-term thinking of a foundation-owned company Salary Transparency Statement At Ramboll, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices that support our people and our purpose of creating sustainable societies. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $25-$35/hr. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. Because we operate across multiple U.S. markets, pay may differ depending on the cost of labor in specific locations.
