Responsibilities
- Adjudicate background checks (criminal, employment, education, and MVR as applicable)
- Apply company guidelines and regulatory requirements (FCRA, EEOC, state/local laws)
- Assess discrepancies and document clear, audit-ready decisions
- Act as liaison with requesters, applicants, and screening vendor
- Support adverse action process in partnership with HR/compliance

- Coordinate Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with the screening vendor
- Support Americas Security, Health and Safety team as needed
- Required:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent experience
- 2+ years in background screening, adjudication, or HR compliance
- Knowledge of criminal, education, and employment verifications
- Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and applicable hiring regulations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Preferred:
- Experience in a high-volume, multi-state environment
- Vendor management experience
- Ability to interpret complex criminal records
- Experience with reporting, metrics, and performance monitoring
- Exposure to audits or regulated environments
- Process improvement and workflow optimization experience
- The role reports to the Americas Director of Security, Health and Safety.
