About the role

You will serve as the PWD Construction Director in the Project Management & Engineering Directorate, Resident Officer in Charge of Construction (ROICC Norfolk), Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic. SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR (SPF): This position has an SPF which is current registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect (RA) from any state, the District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico. If you meet this requirement, you must provide a copy of your current registration with your application. A copy of a wall certificate that does not show your current registration status will not serve to verify you meet this requirement. In addition to the SPF and basic requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Providing leadership, training and mentoring in the area of Navy Construction Management and delivery of products and services; 2) Supervising and administering construction contracts; 3) Providing accurate workload (Work-in-Place) projections and monthly status of anticipated shortfalls to target values; and 4) Preparing and presenting oral and written presentations and briefings.
