- At least 1 year of general accounting or bookkeeping experience (healthcare/dental industry preferred).

Job Title: Accountant I FLSA: Non-Exempt Department: Accounting Reports to: Accounting Manager Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. Accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. The ideal candidate has also experience with complex journal entries such as intercompany, accruals, amortization schedules and working with fixed assets. Accountant duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks. Primary Responsibilities: Prepare journal entries and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes. Assist in reviweing vendor invoices and ensuring timely payments in coordination with AP. Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow monitoring across multiple dental practice locations. Review and maintain practice-level financial statements and support variance analysis. Support the preparation of audit documentation and compliance reporting. Assist with expense allocations across entities or practice locations. Work closely with practice managers and operations teams to support financial reporting accuracy.
