Job Description: Crowe is seeking a Manager to help build and scale our Accounting Advisory practice, with a strong emphasis on serving clients in the insurance and financial services industry. As a Manager in our Accounting Advisory practice, you will work directly with insurance clients and finance leaders to address complex accounting, financial reporting, and operational challenges. This role offers significant opportunities for upward mobility and professional growth while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment. While primarily remote, the Manager will occasionally work in-office and on-site with clients to support team leadership and engagement delivery. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Execute solutions to complex accounting and finance issues, with a focus on insurance-specific transactions and reporting Provide accounting and financial reporting support to insurance clients under US GAAP and Statutory (STAT) accounting frameworks Perform accounting research on complex insurance transactions, including reserves, DAC, reinsurance arrangements, and policyholder liabilities, and prepare clear technical memos Support clients with financial reporting, close processes, and regulatory requirements, including NAIC considerations Maintain strong client relationships within the insurance industry, acting as a trusted advisor Anticipate and address client concerns and resolve issues as they arise Collaborate across teams, including finance, accounting, and actuarial functions where applicable Assist in planning engagements and supervising staff, including reviewing workpapers and providing feedback and mentorship Evaluate, design, and implement improvements to insurance finance and reporting processes Stay informed of insurance industry trends and emerging accounting guidance, including LDTI, and advise clients accordingly Contribute to the growth of the Insurance Accounting Advisory practice, including supporting business development efforts
