Reporting into the GM, the Sr. Account Executive on Golf Digest's Sales team will be responsible for leading strategic revenue partnerships across Golf Digest's multi-platform ecosystem, including digital media, social, video, events, branded content, experiential activations, subscriptions, and emerging consumer products. This role is responsible for building and maintaining direct relationships with brands and media agencies, ensuring Golf Digest remains a key partner in their marketing and sponsorship strategies. The Sr. Account Executive will be tasked with identifying and engaging strategically aligned clients to expand Golf Digest's portfolio of advertising partners. The applicant is expected to develop direct relationships with brands and agencies, maintain and build upon an existing client list, strategically identify potential clients, and close new business. This person must have a strong digital sales background with experience in closing complex, multi-platform deals that span digital, print, event sponsorships, and branded content. The Sr. Account Executive works in close collaboration with the Marketing, Content, Event, Business Development, and Product teams to craft compelling proposals, be the face of Golf Digest's solutions to existing and prospective clients, respond to RFPs, and deliver innovative, tailored solutions that meet client objectives and maximize revenue opportunities. Your Role Accountabilities... Own a significant annual revenue target and lead the development of strategic partnerships across Golf Digest's portfolio, including digital media, social, video, events, branded content, experiential activations, subscriptions, and emerging consumer products. Develop and execute account growth strategies that maximize revenue and long-term client value. Build, maintain, and expand executive-level relationships with senior brand marketers, agency leadership, and key decision-makers. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying business objectives and developing integrated marketing solutions that leverage Golf Digest's full ecosystem. Drive new business development through proactive prospecting, category expansion, market intelligence, and strategic outreach to prospective clients and agencies. Identify whitespace opportunities and cultivate new revenue streams across existing and emerging advertising categories. Lead the development and negotiation of complex, multi-platform partnerships, including sponsorships, branded content programs, custom media initiatives, event integrations, and long-term strategic agreements. Partner with executive leadership across Content, Marketing, Product, Consumer Revenue, Events, and Business Development to shape commercial strategy, create market-facing solutions, and bring new revenue opportunities to market. Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to junior sales team members, account management staff, and cross-functional partners. Share best practices, support professional development, and contribute to a high-performance sales culture. Leadership in forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue planning responsibilities. Maintain accurate reporting through Salesforce and provide leadership with visibility into revenue opportunities, risks, category trends, and market dynamics. Represent Golf Digest at industry events, client meetings, conferences, tournaments, and corporate functions. Act as a senior ambassador for the brand and identify opportunities to strengthen Golf Digest's position within the marketplace. Qualifications & Experience... Must have a minimum 5 years of media sales experience with proven sales track record. Must have working knowledge of all-media Digital and ad intel, certification, measurement tools et al Must have a positive attitude, be a team player and self-motivated to go above and beyond responsibilities to help the team close deals and make numbers Excellent executive level presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills Ability to lead collaborative efforts across multiple teams at WBD Thorough knowledge of sales, media and brand marketing process Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Strong knowledge of the digital marketplac
