The Pricing Analyst is a key member of the pricing team who will be responsible for providing information that allows for the determination of the fair value pricing of fixed income securities, structured credit and other instruments held in portfolios that BBH manages in accordance with BBH's valuation policy and procedures. Key responsibilities include: Determine fair value price for securities/instruments that are not covered by an external pricing vendor and submit to CP's Valuation Oversight Committee ("CPVOC") for approval Review, research and resolve pricing exceptions in a timely fashion Escalate, as appropriate, pricing issues to the head of the pricing team and CPVOC for review Work with external pricing vendors and valuation specialists to establish, implement and maintain the appropriate valuation approach and related cash flow models for complex structured securities Lead the periodic due diligence reviews of the external pricing vendors and valuation specialists Validate securities' fair value pricing based on broker quotes, comparable bonds' spreads/yields (proxy calculations) Initiate price challenge with approved pricing vendors as appropriate Work with the traders, brokers, CPVOC members in determining/calculating fair value pricing for securities / instruments that are not covered by approved pricing vendors Prepare pricing-related materials for the monthly CPVOC meetings Present the pricing update (exceptions, resolution and related commentary) at the monthly CPVOC meetings Identify, validate and contribute key pricing data points for the fair value forms Assist with a variety of ad hoc projects to improve pricing workflows Respond to clients' requests for pricing information Respond to auditors' requests for pricing information and assist in the ASC 820 fair value level hierarchy determinations Maintain the pricing team's desk procedures for completeness and accuracy
