Responsibilities
- Lead quantitative research and development of new indices for benchmarks and investible products, across multi-asset classes including equities, equity derivatives, FIC, and virtual assets.
- Back test and evaluate new models and ideas, conduct deep-dive performance/ market/sector/scenario analysis, present findings to senior management and clients.

- Create presentations and papers using excellent communication skills to gain support and investment in product initiatives.
- Leverage strengths as a team player to collaborate across various functions including IT, Product, Sales and Operations.
Requirements
- Relevant university degree or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in financial markets, experience from Index/ETF businesses, asset management or quantitative research is preferable.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of relevant programming languages and tools, third party vendor products.
- Exposure on Hong Kong, China and APAC financial market, good understanding of investment strategies and portfolio construction.
- Research and/or Product Development experience.
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset and high agility.
- Strong analytical, collaboration, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
