The CVO Specialist will be responsible for providing privileging or licensing support to client, facilities, boards, groups and clinicians. The CVO Specialist will validate and review the professional qualifications of a clinician to practice medicine in their field to meet NCQA and LT standards and the client's business model. This role is accountable for the initial and renewal for credentialing, privileging, reinstatement, and/or update of licensing type services such as DEA and CSR as requested by our clients. The Specialist will also process files for our clients conducted by the medical authority (MSO at the hospital) or licensing board to determine whether to grant privileges and/or a license to a clinician to engage in specific clinical activity or procedures at a particular facility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: Process Privileging or Licensing Requests - 100% Processes privileging or licensing files according to the client's and/or board's standards Performs all documentation tasks on a privileging or licensing file Updates database for every file with the most current information Acts as a liaison between the client, clinician, and/or appropriate state board Resolves or appropriately escalates inquiries and concerns Proactively communicates information and updates to Production, CVO partners, and Management Partners with the facility or group to resolve outstanding items to complete the file process SECONDARY FUNCTIONS (IF APPLICABLE) May work on special projects or other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY/BUDGETARY/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY May communicate with clinicians, clients, and state boards QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred 1+ years of related experience preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Ability to adhere to and exhibit the Company Values at all times Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams Working knowledge of PDF editing software Working knowledge of Salesforce Ability to build relationships at all levels - internally and externally Strong customer service mindset Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently Strong communication skills - both oral and written Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED Customer Focus Values Differences Decision Quality Communicates Effectively Action Oriented Demonstrates Self-Awareness Resourcefulness Self-Development Builds Networks Situational Adaptability PHYSICAL, MENTAL, WORKING CONDITION, AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Typical office environment - sedentary with typing, writing, reading requirements May be able to sit or stand Speaking, reading, writing, ability to use a telephone and computer Ability to exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally Ability to interpret various instructions Ability to deal with a variety of variables under only limited standardization
