Working Student Data Engineer (all genders) - Cloud & Platform Engineering

Responsibilities

• Develop data ingestion, transformation, and access layers using Apache Spark, Iceberg, and AWS services such as Lambda, and S3.
• Develop scalable workflow automation improving our CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CDK and TypeScript.
• Support the management and maintenance of SageMaker Unified Studio.
• Work hands-on with the newest AI-Tools and enable others to use them even more productively.
• What will help you to fulfill your role
• You are currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's or Master's program in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• To support your personal development and for you to take ownership of projects and processes, you should be enrolled for at least one year .
• Effective communication skills and interest in being part of a highly autonomous team.
• We want to act and grow as a team. Collaborating via pair programming, sharing knowledge, and communicating effectively should be something you value in your day-to-day work.
• Programming skills in Python. Knowledge of the Typescript ecosystem.
• The ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
• Professional-level English.
• Familiarity working with data or AWS Cloud is a plus.
