• 0 to 3 years of healthcare and/or inventory/receiving experience required.
• License/Certification/Registration Requirements
• Valid unrestricted State of Oklahoma Driver's License required.
• Receiving Tech II
• Education Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years' experience in healthcare, with inventory/receiving experience required.
• Receiving Tech III
• Associate's degree required.
• 5 or more years of healthcare or inventory/receiving experience required.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Requirements
• Typing, use of computers, computer software, and the ability to learn software applications necessary in the performance of typical work.
• Proficiency in utilizing the MMIS.
• Knowledge of general office equipment such a fax machines, copy machines, and printers.
• Ability to work in a busy, high-pressure environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders to include coworkers, management, and clinical partners.
• Demonstrated proficiency in English, both written and verbal, including active listening.
• Demonstrated proficiency in customer service and problem solving.

Position Title: Receiving Technician Department: Supply Chain Job Description: Under general supervision, receive, warehouse, courier, and deliver general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment throughout various healthcare settings. Perform advanced supply chain duties such as receiving purchase orders or transporting supplies in vans and cargo trucks. Essential Responsibilities Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. Deliver supplies and packages to various nursing units, clinics, and other locations utilizing appropriate signature technologies. Answer phone calls and emails and respond to customer service requests in a timely manner. Perform issues and credits in the Materials Management Information System (MMIS), ensuring the cost of the items are allocated appropriately. Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories. Utilize various computer technologies such as handhelds, package scanners, and software programs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Receive purchase orders in the MMIS. Ship outbound packages utilizing appropriate shipping methodologies. Verify incoming and outbound shipments for accuracy. Resolve order discrepancies while adhering to department policy and procedure. Courier fixtures, furniture, equipment, packages and supplies in vans and cargo trucks to the correct destination, using appropriate signature technologies.
