Responsibilities

  • Production Leadership & Team Coordination (35%)

  • Coordinate with vendors on production needs, monitor incoming material quality, and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory-related activities.
  • DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2-3 years of experience in a leadership or lead role
  • Ability to read production drawings and apply arithmetic and measurement skills
  • Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including operation, maintenance, and repair

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with other departments
  • Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to perform frequent physical activities including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting, reaching, and repetitive hand motions
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Willingness to work overtime based on business needs

YOU As a Production Lead, you will guide and support employees on the production floor to ensure safe work practices, high-quality output, and efficient completion of customer orders. You'll coordinate workflow, train team members, maintain production standards, and help drive continuous improvement across the Fabrication Department. You will also support production flow by assisting with material handling, inventory accuracy, troubleshooting equipment, and communication between departments. You'll help ensure work orders are completed according to drawings, schedules, and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
