Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) Nurse Consultant

About the role

An opportunity to join our team at MHW Neonatal Services in the new role of Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) Nurse Consultant. Working alongside a multi-disciplinary team, the ROP Nurse Consultant role is responsible for the coordination of Mercy Hospital for Women's ROP Screening and Follow-up Program including maintaining the screening program, conducting RetCAM screening of infants, accurate documentation and liaising with key stakeholders.

• You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
• A postgraduate qualification in Neonatal Intensive Care (or equivalent) - Desirable
• Previous experience working in a leadership position - Desirable
• Ability to work a rotating roster (8-hour or 12-hour roster pattern) - Required
• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
