Based in Ongwediva, this role is responsible for managing and growing the Private Clients portfolio across the Far North region. The successful candidate will work closely with multiple branches and communities, travelling as necessary to build long-term client relationships, identify growth opportunities and deliver the exceptional Private Clients experience across a geographically dispersed portfolio. Operate independently while maintaining exceptional standards of customer experience, operational excellence, and risk management. Identify opportunities to acquire, grow, and retain profitable clients within a highly competitive regional market. Strategically manage client portfolios to drive revenue growth, deepen product penetration, and position FNB as the client's primary banking partner. Analyse client financial needs and structure appropriate banking, lending, and investment-related solutions. Apply strong credit, risk, and compliance principles while balancing commercial growth and customer experience. Assist clients with fiduciary-related requirements, including new wills and estate reporting processes. Support securities and lending processes while ensuring sound governance and turnaround times. Compile and present detailed reports, business insights, and portfolio analysis to support informed decision-making. Demonstrate strong relationship management skills, leveraging your knowledge of investments, finance, lending, and Private Banking. Work independently, communicate effectively, and take accountability for delivering exceptional results within a fast-paced environment. Represent the Private Banking and Premium brand professionally within the branch, Premium suite, and broader Northern community. You will be an ideal candidate if you: Have a relevant Business, Commerce or Banking qualification. Possess 5 to 8 years' experience in Private Banking, Business Banking, Relationship Banking, Wealth Management or a similar financial services environment. Have strong knowledge of banking products, lending, credit, fiduciary services, investments, compliance and risk management. Demonstrate strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to acquire, grow and retain profitable client relationships. Have exceptional relationship-building, networking and stakeholder management skills. Are self-motivated and able to work independently while effectively managing a geographically dispersed portfolio. Have experience managing affluent or high-value client portfolios within a relationship banking environment. Demonstrate excellent planning, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to balance client engagements across multiple locations.
