A Snapshot As the Site Selection Strategy & Acquisition, Senior Manager you will report to the Site Selection Strategy & Acquisition, Director and work closely with the cross-department teams, making your mark in a number of ways: Join a dynamic team driving AirTrunk's rapid expansion by identifying and acquiring strategic data centre sites across Malaysia. This key role covers domestic market opportunities - both in established regions and emerging locations. Engage directly with landowners, property developers, government agencies, and real estate brokers to source, evaluate, and secure high-potential sites for development. Receive mentorship from the Singapore-based Site Selection Strategy & Acquisition, Director while collaborating with a wide range of cross-functional teams, gaining exposure to both internal stakeholders and external partners. Your Day to Day Business Development, Market Analysis & Opportunity Mapping Conduct comprehensive market research and opportunity mapping to identify strategic expansion opportunities across Malaysia. Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, brokers, developers, and government agencies to source and evaluate potential sites. Collaborate with the Data Strategy team to assess target locations and customer availability zones (AZs). Consolidate and analyze inputs to evaluate cost implications, design and construction risks, and project timelines for site selection. Due Diligence, Feasibility & Internal Approvals Coordinate the collection of due diligence materials from external representatives and stakeholders. Partner with a multidisciplinary team-including engineers, consultants, and real estate professionals-to conduct thorough due diligence and feasibility assessments. Manage the due diligence budget for site selection activities, ensuring cost control and transparency. Support internal teams in preparing documentation for investment approvals, including financial models and investment memoranda. Legal & Documentation Together with the Site Selection Strategy & Acquisition, Director, negotiate all key legal documents such as NDAs, engagement letters, lease agreements, and sale and purchase agreements. Coordinate with internal and external legal teams to ensure alignment with deal terms and integration of due diligence findings. Facilitate and track the execution of contracts and related documentation to ensure timely completion and compliance. Reporting & Coordination Prepare clear and concise presentation materials and regular updates for internal stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and key milestones in the site acquisition process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and maintain momentum across all real estate initiatives.
