We're looking for a hands-on engineering leader to manage and grow a high-performing team within our Cyberbank Core team. Cyberbank Core is a next generation lean banking core that is part of the Galileo suite of banking APIs and was built from the ground up at Galileo/SoFi. This technology powers SoFi Bank and we are hard at work expanding its footprint and capabilities to better support a post-fiat world. You'll drive delivery, partner with the Product team to define and build features, own operational excellence for your services, and own definition and execution of the team's technical roadmap. You'll play a key role in scaling resilient systems and supporting strategic product development at Galileo and SoFi.

- Build and manage a high-performing software engineering team
- Lead the development & delivery of our software products, building quality in
- Partner with Product Manager on both long term product vision and short term roadmaps
- Dive deep on all aspects of overall design of the system
- Encourage team processes that optimize for product flow

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 7+ years programming experience, ideally on a modern stack
- 5+ years of software engineering management experience (can overlap a bit with programming experience)
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Delivery principles and techniques, including unit testing, build & deploy pipelines, and testing in production.
- Ability to coordinate and deliver work with dependencies across multiple teams
- Demonstrated expertise in building and operating resilient software components within a large scale distributed system
- Experience building/operating services on AWS/cloud environment
- Experience building bank core or ledger technology is a plus, but is not required
