Over the decades, IRC in Miami has provided critical support to refugees, asylees, survivors of human trafficking, unaccompanied minors, immigrant youth , and their families. SCOPE OF IMMIGRANT YOUTH ENGLISH INTERN WORK: The Immigrant Youth English Cafe Intern will support our Miami-Dade-based Immigrant Youth team in delivering essential services to immigrant children and their families. Key responsibilities include f acilitating and leading the online English Café initiative, meant for youth and adults to practice their English skills . Please note that all internship positions are unpaid, and we are currently considering candidates in South Florida only . LEARNING OBJECTIVES: The intern will learn how to design and deliver project - based social services. The intern will develop leadership skills. The intern will develop skills in client empowerment and advocacy. The intern will learn cultural sensitivity.
