Salary Range: $38,000 - $42,000 Position Summary Assembles automotive quick connectors using manual, semi-automated, and fully automated processes by performing the following duties: Essential Functions -Assembles O-rings, clips, shipping plugs & caps into parts according to part procedure -Understands the machine and its functions and operate according to the procedure, following all safety procedures -Reads and understands job procedure -Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, as well as company policies -Conducts leak testing as required by part procedure -Conducts in-process parts inspection to ensure product quality and completeness -As designated, trains manufacturing associates in procedures and processes -Ensures daily production schedule is attained -Knowledge of Leading2Lean -Knowledge of SAP -Maintains a clean and organized work area, in compliance with 5S requirements -Performs and understands importance of processes in place to ensure machine is running accurately (such as running duds and/or use of gauges) -Keeps machines running with minimal downtime -Performs basic repair and setup Education / Experience -High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) plus 6-12 months related light manufacturing experience required This is a 1st shift position. Regular hours are 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Monday to Friday)
