Job Description Y OUR ROLE AS A: This role is responsible for end-to-end demand planning, inventory control, and operational reconciliation to ensure optimal stock availability, minimal inventory leakage, and smooth operational continuity across inflight and merchandise operations. The role requires a highly hands-on and independent individual who can operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage operational complexities, and drive closure across planning, warehouse, finance, suppliers, and operations teams. This position plays a critical role in improving inventory visibility, reducing Out-of-Stock (OOS) risk, clearing operational backlogs, and strengthening process discipline across the inventory lifecycle. Candidates must be comfortable working in environments where processes are still being stabilised and may require hands-on problem solving beyond defined scope. WHAT YOU'LL CHAMPION: 1. Demand Planning & Stock Readiness Own demand planning and forecasting activities across inflight and merchandise categories Ensure adequate stock readiness to support operational and sales requirements Monitor stock movement and proactively mitigate Out-of-Stock (OOS), slow move and E&O risks Coordinate closely with commercial and operations teams on demand changes and priorities 2. Inventory Control & Optimization Maintain optimal inventory levels across warehouses and operational locations Monitor inventory health including slow-moving, aging, excess, and at-risk inventory Drive initiatives to reduce inventory imbalance, expiry risk, and stock leakage 3. Inventory Rebalancing & Transfer Order Execution Plan and execute Transfer Orders (TOs) across locations. Optimize inventory distribution to prevent sales disruption and operational shortages Coordinate closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely execution 4. Reconciliation Monitor timely Goods Receipt Note (GRN) closure and discrepancy resolution Manage inventory-related reconciliation and payment readiness processes Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Warehouse, and suppliers to resolve operational and financial gaps Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reconciliation activities 5. Process Improvement & Automation Identify operational gaps and improvement opportunities within inventory and planning processes Support implementation of practical automation and visibility initiatives (e.g. low-stock alerts, inventory dashboards, tracking improvements) Participate in UAT and implementation activities to ensure operational effectiveness 6. Stakeholder Coordination Work closely with: Procurement Warehouse Operations Finance Suppliers Ensure alignment between demand planning, ordering, delivery, GRN, and payment activities Provide timely operational updates, issue escalation, and action tracking
