Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify waste (Muda) and improvement opportunities using Lean principles.
• Lead and support Kaizen / Continuous Improvement projects to improve productivity, cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Conduct time study / motion study, line balancing, capacity analysis, and cycle time optimization.
• Develop and maintain Standard Work, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Apply Lean tools and methods such as 5S, Visual Management, VSM (Value Stream Mapping), SMED, Poka-Yoke, and problem-solving tools (5 Why, Fishbone).
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to solve process issues and reduce scrap/rework.
• Track, analyze, and report key KPIs (e.g., OEE, Productivity, Cycle Time, Downtime) and present progress to management.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement audits as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 years' experience in the Automotive industry.
• Minimum 1 years' hands-on experience in Lean / Kaizen / Continuous Improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven improvement project experience.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; able to summarize and present data clearly.
