About the role
Serves as Assistant General Manager within the Air Traffic Organization (ATO); Air Traffic Services; Central Service Areas, and District Offices, responsible for planning and directing multiple activities and programs in a complex matrix organization in a specific Air Traffic District assigned to the highest facility-level within that District. Must have held a MSS position for at least 1 year (52 weeks) in an ATS facility AND IN ADDITION to meeting the qualification requirements listed above, applicants must have held a MSS-3 or 2152 FG-14 position or above for at least 1 year (52 weeks). QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE MET BY THE CLOSING DATE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT Eligible candidates will also be evaluated based on FAA Managerial Workforce Planning Selection Factors, Dimensions 1 through 4.
