Construction Manager

About the role

Plan, organize, and supervise daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Coordinate and manage site supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and workers to maintain smooth project execution. Monitor construction progress and ensure all works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Review project schedules and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet project deadlines. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve operational, technical, and safety issues. Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, and government authorities on project requirements and progress updates. Manage project costs, approve site expenditures, and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability. Ensure compliance with Singapore workplace safety regulations and company health, safety, and environmental policies. Prepare project reports, monitor key performance indicators, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Lead and mentor site management teams through practical industry experience and strong leadership skills gained from years of construction project management.
