About the role

You will serve as an Airfield Management Specialist of NAS CORPUS CHRISTI. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ensure the safe and continuous operation of the airfield by conducting daily safety, and equipment inspections in accordance with Navy standards; Identify hazards, assess risks, and have the authority to suspend air traffic if conditions are unsafe; Log all significant airfield events, coordinate emergency responses with leadership, and serve as the primary liaison between air traffic control, emergency services, and aviation tenants; Ensure safety compliance by processing civil aircraft landing permits.
