Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting Operations Specialist to join our Institutional Middle Office Team. In this role you will be responsible for daily collaboration with teammates, internal and external parties (including clients) to manage trade lifecycle for variety of financial instrument types. From trade capture, matching, instruction release up to settlement and failing management with additional clients, vendors and industry engagements and extra projects. Krakow Team is working on the daily process for external and internal clients around the clock, where we take over coverage on daily duties from our colleagues from Hong Kong, and we pass process at the end of our day to our colleagues located in US. On this position you will be responsible for: Providing excellent client service and resolution of open inquires by close cooperation with financial institutions including investment managers across the globe; Processing daily tasks suited to clients needs; support client within trade confirmation and settlement across multiple investment of on exchange products; Identifying errors to reduce risk and suggesting improvements to existing processes; Preparing reports to internal and external parties on daily, monthly and quarterly basis including management reports. Participating in challenging projects. Actively participate in clients onboarding and variety of internal and external testing projects with exposure to global audience. Categorizing, authenticating, and acknowledging of email communication driven by clients, their affiliates, contracted parties, authorized agents, and any other party. Fail management by monitoring, reviewing and reaching out to appropriate parties to settle transactions during business hours. Monitoring clients inbound trade notifications and outbound messages. Investigating and escalating any discrepancies to proper parties.
