This position is responsible for maintaining medical charts, completingpreparatory procedures for Veterinarians, and providing general healthcare informationto clients. Veterinary Technician - Baxter, MN Join an Award-Winning Team in the Beautiful Brainerd Lakes Area Voted Best Veterinary Clinic and Grooming Facility in the Area , Animal Care Center is seeking a full-time or part-time Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative, patient-focused three-doctor team in Baxter, Minnesota. If you're looking for a hospital where your skills are valued and utilized to their fullest potential, Animal Care Center is the place for you. Our exceptional 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio allows our technicians to play an active role in patient care while practicing advanced technical skills every day. From anesthesia induction and intubation to surgical monitoring and technician appointments, our CVTs are trusted members of the medical team and are empowered to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. We are committed to providing high-quality medicine while supporting a healthy work-life balance. Our hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM , which means no regular evening, weekend, or holiday shifts. Full-time team members enjoy either a four- or five-day work week, along with a full one-hour lunch break each shift. For technicians interested in additional earning opportunities, participation in our optional after-hours emergency on-call program is available. On-call hours run from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on weekends, with team members receiving an on-call stipend plus a minimum of two hours of time-and-a-half pay whenever called into the hospital.
