Social Media Executive

Requirements

• You are genuinely passionate about social media, you follow creators, track trends, and understand what makes content pop
• You have a strong instinct for viral content and are fluent in the language of digital media: retention, shareability, ad breaks, algorithms, trending audio
• You are highly creative, solutions-oriented, and think beyond the obvious brief
• You bring impeccable work ethic and a sharp sense of humour; both are non-negotiable here
• You are eager to grow, learn, and contribute to a team that takes its content seriously
• You work with urgency and can deliver high-quality output on fast turnaround
• Strong working knowledge of major social media platforms and their respective content formats
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Lightroom, and InDesign at minimum
• Excellent command of written English with strong grammar, punctuation, and copywriting skills
• Understanding of content storytelling and what drives audience engagement and shareability
• Proven ability to work to deadlines and deliver under pressure

Additional Information

Create, edit, and publish compelling visual and video content across all major social media platforms Design marketing materials including thumbnails, graphics, and branded assets using tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, and InDesign Develop and maintain platform-specific content guidelines to ensure consistency in brand voice and visual identity Monitor trends, viral content, and emerging creators to continuously inform and evolve the content strategy Collaborate with the wider team on video concepts, storytelling angles, and platform growth strategies (YouTube Shorts, Reels, TikTok, vlogs, etc.) Optimise content for key performance metrics including retention, reach, shareability, and engagement Manage content calendars and deliver to strict deadlines without compromising creative quality
