Within the Technical Function, Commercial Products Supply (CPS) is a critical part of the Advantaged Supply Chain, manufacturing concentrates and beverage bases for bottling partners across the globe. The Project Engineering Manager is a highly autonomous, strategic leader responsible for shaping and delivering capital investment programs that enable safe, sustainable, and value-generating growth across CPS. This role leads complex capital projects and portfolios, typically exceeding US$5 million, across manufacturing, warehousing, utilities, infrastructure, and logistics. The ideal candidate brings strong engineering expertise, project governance discipline, business acumen, and people leadership to successfully translate strategic priorities into executed results. What You'll Do for Us Lead the governance, prioritization, and execution of the capital project portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered safely and in alignment with approved scope, cost, schedule, quality, and business objectives. Provide end-to-end leadership across the full project lifecycle, from concept development and business case justification through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, validation, and handover to operations. Establish and maintain strong project management and portfolio governance practices, including Capital Approval Process (CAP), Project Portfolio Management (PPfM), Master Planning, PMO standards, contractor management, and Standard Practices and Procedures (SPP). Serve as the technical authority for capital projects, leading engineering reviews and approvals to ensure compliance with legal requirements, KORE standards, engineering specifications, energy efficiency requirements, and industry best practices. Oversee bidding, supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and commercial management activities for capital investments, ensuring compliance with procurement, financial, and governance policies while maximizing value and mitigating risk. Lead portfolio-level risk management, proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical, safety, environmental, schedule, and financial risks across capital projects. Develop and manage capital budgets, forecasts, and spending controls, ensuring financial discipline, transparency, and alignment with business priorities. Provide leadership, coaching, and technical direction to internal Project Leaders and external Project Managers, building project management capability and promoting consistent execution standards. Partner closely with operations, quality, maintenance, warehouse, safety, and finance teams to minimize operational disruption, ensure business continuity, and support operational excellence initiatives. Act as a visible safety leader across all assigned projects, taking immediate action to address unsafe conditions or deviations and reinforcing a culture of care, accountability, and compliance. Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline required. Five or more years of progressive experience in project management and capital execution within food, beverage, pharmaceutical, consumer goods, or similar manufacturing industries. Demonstrated experience managing complex CAPEX projects with individual or portfolio values exceeding US$5 million. Proven background in project portfolio management, including prioritization, governance, risk management, and alignment with strategic business plans. Strong technical engineering foundation, including plant design, construction, commissioning, industrial systems, and equipment reliability principles. Experience leading procurement processes, including bidding, supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and commercial management. Solid financial acumen, with demonstrated capability in CAPEX budgeting, forecasting, project justification, and cost control. Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera, JIRA, or equivalent, as well as advanced use of MS Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint. Strong leadership capabilities, including people development, stakeholder influence, and cross-functional collaboration. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare technical reports and deliver clear, impactful presentations. Fluent English, both written and spoken; PMP or PMI certification is preferred.
