Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A degree in a scientific or technical discipline ( e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or similar)

  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA or Confluence is helpful but not essential
  • Basic knowledge of SQL or scripting is a plus

Additional Information

Junior Release Engineer Location: Birmingham, UK (commutable distance required) About FNZ and the Team You'll be joining the Figaro Release Operations team, part of FNZ's Operational Support function. We're responsible for delivering software releases to clients, making sure everything is tested, documented, and ready to go. We also support the environments and tools used by our development and testing teams. This is a great opportunity to start or grow your career in Release Engineering within a supportive, collaborative team. Role Overview As a Junior Release Engineer, you'll help deliver software releases across FNZ Figaro platforms, working closely with internal teams across Delivery, Product, and Support, and occasionally with our clients' technical teams. You'll gain hands-on experience in deployment processes, cloud environments, and release management practices. You'll be supported in developing your technical skills while contributing to real releases and learning how to improve processes over time.
