Position Summary Are you ready to work on cutting-edge compute and sensing technologies that power a safer, greener, and more connected world? As a Test Development Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing and implementing advanced test processes that bring innovative products to life in mass production. You'll be part of a global, diverse, and collaborative team, driving excellence in manufacturing and making a real impact on the future of mobility and intelligent systems. Major Job Responsibilities: Lead the acquisition of new manufacturing test-equipment (Statement of work, Request for quotation, supplier nomination, design reviews, Equipment acceptance at supplier) and ensure compliance with industrialization timing. Be responsible to develop and optimize test software/programs for functional & electrical tests Cooperate with the Aptiv manufacturing location to install, debug and release the test-equipment (including Test Software development, process capability studies, Environmental Health and Safety review / release). Establish documentation and provide training for test-equipment and process in accordance to APTIV guidelines Ensure test equipment compliance in terms of product quality, test requirements (Functional safety, CyberSecuirty, customer requirements), and costs Facilitate test coverage analysis process, ensure appropriate test coverage for the assigned test process Support product development team and collaborate closely with Lead Manufacturing Engineer to ensure flawless launches by applying and supporting tools like (P-FMEA, Error proofing, Test coverage analysis, Six Sigma) Support in OEM RFQ phase by elaboration a manufacturing test process
