Additional Information

Job Overview Wargaming is looking for an Armored Vehicle Technical Designer to join our team and help bring historical military vehicles to life in our games. At Wargaming, respect for history is at the heart of everything we do. The military vehicles featured in our games are recreated with great care and attention to detail. Just like real vehicles, they all start on the drawing board. That is why we are looking for a Technical Designer - an engineer who can turn historical references, sketches, and blueprints into accurate 3D models and technical drawings of real-world military vehicles. This role is crucial to the entire production process: the quality of the drawings directly affects how our in-game models are created. We strongly believe that the best results come from combining solid engineering expertise with a deep understanding of history. Reports to Head of Military Design and Research What will you do? Work with various historical photos and video materials on military equipment Create accurate 3D models and technical drawings of military vehicles in SolidWorks, using available reference materials Review and validate vehicle models to ensure historical and technical accuracy What are we looking for? Secondary technical or higher technical education (Mechanical Engineer / Design Engineer) Experience working in machine-building companies or engineering design offices Good understanding of tracked and wheeled vehicle construction Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods for different types of parts and assemblies (casting, stamping, fabric/canvas components) Experience working with CAD software (SolidWorks) English language skills at a good level C1- C2 Russian proficiency (for the effective search, reading, and comprehension of historical and engineering materials related to military equipment) What additional skills will help you stand out? Knowledge of armored vehicle history from World War II and the post-war period Experience with or interest in scale model building Work mode On-site from office in Belgrade
