Responsibilities
- Participate in the care of surgical patients during general, regional or local anesthesia
- Provide Anesthetic Support for the Operating Room, Peri-Operative & Post-Operative Units
- Coordinate patient treatment plan(s) with multi-disciplinary team(s)

- Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy or Nursing Program and registered with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario or College of Nurses of Ontario
- Completion or enrollment in the Michener Institute Anesthesia Assistant Program or equivalent
- Certified Clinical Anesthesia Assistant (CCAA) designation, or in process of acquiring
- Previous experience in critical care or operating rooms as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse
- Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (A.C.L.S.) program, or in process of acquiring
- Ability to perform without direct supervision
