Up to $34.05 based on education and experience.Job DescriptionThe hourly pay for this position is up to $34.05 based on education and experience.Typical FunctionsDevelop teacher resources that convey basic educational concepts using agricultural facts.Conduct professional development activities featuring Ag in the Classroom materials.Conduct student events featuring ag literacy concepts with small and large groups of children.Plan and facilitate trips, tours, workshops and conferences for teachers, industry leaders and non-traditional educators.Seek out and apply for grant funding to enhance the existing program.Plan and coordinate events with 30-300 attendees.Works with the Ag in the Classroom team to prepare a budget and strategic plan each year.Applicant should have a current Oklahoma teaching certificate, a minimum of one year of classroom experience and have extensive knowledge of Oklahoma academic standards.Physical Demands and Work Environment: Position is field-based and frequent in-state travel is required. Event setup with some heavy lifting is possible. Some outdoor work.
