Responsibilities
- As a Lead Civil Engineer in our Energy team based in Brisbane , you'll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
- Advise clients on complex engineering projects from concept to delivery
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges
- Deliver high-quality advice that informs decisions
- Coordinate civil works with key energy assets (wind, solar, BESS, substations)
- Support construction planning and delivery with practical, buildable solutions
- Contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions
- Apply advanced analytics and optimisation to enhance performance
Requirements
- Relevant engineering qualifications and experience in Civil Engineering
- Demonstrated experience delivering civil design for renewable energy projects, particularly Wind, Solar and/or BESS developments.
- Strong expertise in civil infrastructure design, including access roads, pavements, hardstands, earthworks, and drainage.
- Sound understanding of relevant Australian standards, design guidelines and client requirements in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- A track record of delivering practical, impactful outcomes
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
