Responsibilities
- Drive New Business with Corporates Merchants - By taking full ownership of an assigned pipeline of Large Corporate prospects, expertly guiding them through a complex acquisition cycle, presenting our suite of payment solutions and closing strategic deals.
- Oversee Technical integration & Go-Live - By acting as a Project Manager for the post-contract phase. You will lead the conversation regarding cash register systems, PSPs, and Payment Gateways integrations, anticipating blockers and ensuring a seamless activation.
- Cross-Functional Leadership - By coordinating internal teams-including Solutions Integration, Marketing, Finance, and Legal-to ensure that every strategic account is onboarded successfully and aligned with Satispay's standards.
- Strategic Pipeline & Forecast Management - By autonomously utilising Hubspot CRM to manage your pipeline. Given the long sales cycles, you will be responsible for providing accurate, realistic forecasting based on a deep understanding of technical and legal timelines.
- Contribute to Achieving Ambitious Targets - By working with dedication and strategic insight to meet and exceed defined sales and activation targets for the role.

- Proven B2B Corporate Business Development Experience - With 5-8+ years of success in Business Development or Account Executive roles, specifically dealing with complex, long-cycle sales to large corporate clients.
- Industry Expertise & Network - A strong background in the Retail sector (e.g. GDO, GDS, Electronics) is essential; a pre-existing network within Fashion, Beauty, or Luxury is a significant advantage.
- Technical Sales Acumen - You understand the "behind the scenes" of a payment. You are familiar with PSPs, Payment Gateways, and Cash Register (POS) integrations. You can sit at a table with technical stakeholders and discuss logic, timing, and costs with confidence.
- Project Management Mindset - You don't just "sign and move on." You have the discipline to drive the project through the integration phase, managing internal and external blockers to ensure the merchant goes live.
- Analytical & Strategic Skills - Ability to produce verisimilar forecasts and track KPIs meticulously. You know how to prioritize high-value opportunities over quick wins.
- Language Proficiency - Full professional fluency in both Italian and English (written and spoken).
- Payment Industry Knowledge - Direct experience in selling digital payment solutions, acquiring, or fintech services is a strong plus.
