About You Your technical skills are grounded in strong fundamentals and have been demonstrated through the delivery of robust and innovative substation engineering designs. You are confident in leading design teams and have a passion for coaching and mentoring emerging engineers. Beyond substation engineering, you possess a broader range of skills that enable you to contribute to the power business more holistically. This will be combined with your deep understanding of various engineering disciplines, industry regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as your project management expertise and experience in integrating complex systems. Knowledge and experience in software tools such as ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, or similar engineering design platforms is required. Preferably, you will have proven capability across a range of the following areas: Significant experience in developing substation designs for high voltage electricity networks in a collaborative team environment to deliver successful project outcomes Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively leading a team of engineers and designers (locally and/or internationally) to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget Proven ability to manage client expectations while building strong relationships to achieve successful outcomes Consultancy experience is advantageous but not essential Playing a key leadership role in networking to help drive and grow a substation portfolio
