Responsibilities
- Routine culture and maintenance of immortalized and primary cell cultures, especially of NHP and human origin.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree at least 5 years of experience, or Master's Degree with at least two years of experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in cell and molecular biological assays such as qPCR analysis, multicolor flow cytometry, FACS, ELISA/Luminex/MSD, cell proliferation/viability assays, cytotoxicity, and in vitro cell stimulation assays
- Strong written/oral communication and presentation skills are important. Experience with electronic lab notebooks is preferred.
- Experience with statistical analysis and graphing software (Excel, FlowJo, GraphPad Prism)
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed organization.

Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join Discovery Immunology's Nonhuman Primate (NHP) In Vivo Pharmacology team. As part of that team, this position will drive the development and deployment of NHP in vitro and in vivo models to support AbbVie's Immunology drug discovery efforts. This is a hands-on and lab-based role requiring significant cell biology and ex vivo expertise. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with primary cell cultures and in vitro cell-based assays in the context of autoimmune disease.
