About the role

The Market Development & Events Officer plays a key role in expanding the university's reach and enhancing prospective student engagement through targeted market development and event coordination. This role is responsible for identifying and nurturing key relationships in assigned markets, organizing impactful events (such as Open Days, webinars, and campus tours), and supporting recruitment initiatives in collaboration with Marketing and Sales departments. Market Development: Identify and engage with key stakeholders in strategic local and international markets, including high schools, embassies, and community organizations. Research and identify the most relevant and high-impact education fairs in assigned markets, manage bookings, coordinate logistics, travel, and represent the institution at these events. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in high schools (counselors, principals, etc.) Develop and maintain a database of partner schools, embassies, and outreach opportunities. Identify and engage potential student ambassadors Events Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute engagement events such as Open Days, campus tours, online events, workshops, and in-school presentations. Coordinate logistics, communication, and promotional materials in partnership with the Marketing team. Ensure post-event follow-up and lead handover to Sales teams. Monitor attendance and engagement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of each event. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Sales departments to ensure lead quality and follow-up. Coordinate with Marketing to develop tailored campaigns and materials for different markets and events. Share market intelligence and insights with Sales to support conversion strategies. Required Bachelor's degree in international Relations, Marketing, Education, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in student recruitment, outreach, counseling, or a similar role, preferably within an international or higher education setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences. Experience organizing events and coordinating logistics. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to travel internationally and work flexible hours as needed. Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English is required Preferred Master's degree in a relevant field. French or German is a plus Experience working in an international higher education environment. Additional Information The position requires international travel and flexible working hours to support events and recruitment activities in different markets.
