Job Description As an Executive Assistant, you will provide high‑level administrative and operational support directly to the Vice President and General Manager of the Sensing, Safety & Industrial Components business. In this role, you will enhance executive effectiveness by managing complex schedules, supporting communications, coordinating meetings and travel, maintaining confidentiality, and preparing materials that enable a strong partnership and consistent operational cadence across the business. You will report to VP/GM Sensing, Safety, & Industrial Components. You will work Hybrid in Milwaukee, WI. Primary Responsibilities: Executive Meeting Planning & Preparation Plan and support a wide range of meetings (virtual, onsite, and offsite), ensuring audio‑visual, network, and logistical requirements are met; arrange refreshments and meals as needed Schedule, participate in, and support staff and leadership meetings, including agenda development, meeting materials, and minutes Support the regular cadence of executive leadership meetings by maintaining Microsoft Teams sites, preparing materials, and coordinating follow‑up on action items between meetings Partner with the Director, Strategic Operations for ITD and other ITD leadership team members to manage executive cadence, prioritizing competing demands, and ensuring leaders are prepared with the right materials, context, and follow-ups to drive effective decision-making. Create and edit spreadsheets, charts, presentations, and written content using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and related tools Executive Communication, Organization & Prioritization Manage and maintain complex executive calendars and daily schedules Support internal and external communications, including emails, presentations, and reports, to help executives achieve business objectives Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming requests; independently review, prioritize, respond to, and redirect inquiries as appropriate Act on behalf of the executive during absences, exercising initiative and judgment to ensure continuity and timely decision‑making Proactively monitor follow‑ups, commitments, and outstanding actions to ensure alignment and closure Assist in prioritizing executive emails and requests Collaborate with administrative peers to level workload, provide backup support during absences, and ensure consistency of practices across the segment Build strong, collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization, including global partners Travel & Expense Support Coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries, accommodations, and logistics Partner with internal Rockwell Automation contacts to ensure international travel documentation (passports, visas) is accurate and up to date Support Travel & Expense processes, including documentation preparation and reconciliation, in partnership with the Travel & Entertainment team Maintain strong familiarity with company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations The Essentials - You Will Have: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent professional experience Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; Rockwell Automation will not sponsor employment visas for this role, now or in the future The Preferred - You Might Also Have: Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience. Experience supporting senior leaders in a collaborative, matrixed, global environment Strong comfort with technology and productivity tools to enable team effectiveness Project management experience Proven capability to work effectively with individuals across levels, functions, and global locations
