We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team and continue this tradition of excellent care at our Hillview location. We are seeking a skilled and professional Massage Therapist to provide high-quality therapeutic and relaxation treatments to our clients. You will be responsible for assessing client needs and delivering a range of massage services to help them achieve improved physical well-being and stress relief.

Responsibilities

• Massage Therapy: Administer a range of massage techniques including deep tissue, Swedish, aromatherapy, and traditional massages, tailored to individual client needs and preferences.
• Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs, identify any areas of concern (e.g., muscle tension, pain, migraines), and check for contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure).
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional and friendly service, ensuring a warm and professional experience for every guest. Escort guests to and from treatment rooms.
• Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness of treatment rooms, tools, and linens. Ensure all equipment is properly sanitized between each session.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the reception team and other therapists to ensure smooth customer flow and a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven experience as a Massage Therapist in a spa, wellness center, or similar setting is preferred.
• Possession of a recognized massage therapy certification or WSQ qualification is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in various massage techniques, especially those relevant to our clientele (e.g., deep tissue, lymphatic drainage).
• Skills & Personal Attributes:
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and wellness practices.
• Passionate about wellness, helping others, and providing a comforting "home-like" experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills. While English proficiency is valued, we also appreciate therapists who can connect with a diverse clientele.
• Professional, reliable, well-groomed, and responsible.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks required for the job.
• Other Requirements:
• Must be able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
