This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge engineering environment. Job Responsibilities * Assist in the preparation and execution of various material testing experiments (e.g., mechanical testing, metallography, thermal analysis). * Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality. * Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data, contributing to research reports and presentations. * Support the development and optimization of new material processing techniques. * Collaborate with senior engineers and researchers on ongoing projects. * Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, adhering to all safety protocols. * Participate in literature reviews to stay updated on advancements in materials science and engineering. * Document experimental procedures, results, and findings accurately and thoroughly. Job Qualifications * Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. * Strong theoretical understanding of materials science principles, including metallurgy, material characterization techniques, and mechanical behavior of materials. * Familiarity with common laboratory equipment and testing methodologies. * Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, MATLAB, Python). * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Prior experience in a research laboratory setting is a plus. * Knowledge of turbomachinery materials or high-temperature alloys is desirable but not required.
