About the role

Greets and assists patients, visitors and other users of the hospital by directing and informing them of the location of hospital services, patient locations, etc. they desire as well as regulations governing hospital visitation policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a receptionist, customer service agent, or any position that requires extensive public contact and interaction.
  • Basic Life Support Certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • General knowledge of hospital informational systems.
  • General working knowledge of computer systems.
  • Must be physically capable of constant standing for several minutes, walking, and lifting of heavy equipment and/or patients as deemed necessary.
