Senior Product Designer (AI & Design Systems)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our client, one of the leading banking institutions in the Middle East. This role is ideal for a design leader who combines strong UX thinking, design systems expertise, and exposure to AI-driven solutions . You will work closely within agile squads alongside product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to design intuitive, scalable, and impactful digital experiences-primarily within the corporate banking domain . Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end product design lifecycle : research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and final UI delivery Design and evolve scalable design systems ensuring consistency across platforms Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Business) within Agile squads Translate complex business and banking requirements into intuitive user experiences Apply user-centered design principles and conduct usability testing to improve product outcomes Work on AI-powered product features , ensuring seamless UX integration Contribute to design strategy and innovation , especially in digital banking experiences Mentor junior designers and promote design best practices Required Skills & Qualifications 6+ years of experience as a Product Designer / Senior Product Designer Strong portfolio showcasing UX, UI, and problem-solving capabilities Proven experience building and maintaining Design Systems Hands-on experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD Solid understanding of UX research, interaction design, and usability principles Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) within cross-functional squads Exposure to AI/ML-driven product design is highly preferred Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in banking or financial services , especially corporate banking Experience designing data-heavy or enterprise-level applications Familiarity with accessibility standards and responsive design
