Drive the future of heat networks at the heart of the energy transition Your role Are you excited by the opportunity to shape how a leading international HVAC organisation grows in a fast-evolving market? As Use Case Manager Heat Networks at BDR Thermea Group , you define and drive the commercial roadmap for the heat networks use case. You translate strategy into clear portfolio priorities and help ensure our future solutions match real market needs. You are the link between the market and the business. By combining customer insight, competitor knowledge, market trends, and internal expertise , you help determine which solutions we develop, when we prioritise them, and how we position them. You work closely with technical product management, R&D, and business development to align commercial and technical perspectives. This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who enjoys complexity, influence, and impact. You will help shape integrated propositions that go beyond individual products and create value through systems, services, and clear solution roadmaps. This is a hybrid role, based in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands . We value flexibility and collaboration: you are encouraged to spend at least three days per week in our office while enjoying support for your home office set-up and travel costs. Regular travel ( once or twice a month on average ) to local marke ts is expected. Your team You will join an international, cross-functional commercial team working at the heart of our use-case-driven strategy. Within the Commercial Portfolio Management organisation , you collaborate closely with a group of five Use Case Managers and approximately twenty local Portfolio Managers across Europe. Together, you ensure that global strategy is effectively translated into local market execution. You are part of a broader ecosystem that includes over 150 colleagues in R&D and dedicated production and competence centres , enabling you to scale solutions from the Netherlands to markets across Europe. Your role sits at the intersection of global strategy and local execution, working with diverse teams across countries, disciplines, and product domains. Your key tasks Define and manage the roadmap for the Heat Networks use case, including priorities, timing, and focus areas. Develop compelling value propositions for solutions and systems that meet customer and market needs. Drive the launch of the value proposition in local markets together with Local Portfolio Managers, ensuring readiness to achieve agreed sales targets. Translate market, customer, and country input into clear requirements and priorities for internal development teams. Collaborate with technical and commercial stakeholders to align roadmap choices with feasibility, costs, and differentiation. Create and support business cases, portfolio recommendations, and performance insights for strategic decision-making. What you bring Significant experience in product management, portfolio management, strategy, or business development. Strong commercial awareness and the ability to turn market insight into clear strategic choices. Confidence working across functions and influencing stakeholders in a complex international environment. Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus) and the ability to create clarity and alignment. Experience in heat networks, district heating, commercial HVAC, or related energy infrastructure.
