Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will lead and coordinate maintenance activities supporting production lines, equipment, buildings, and grounds. Provide technical guidance, coaching, and development for maintenance employees. Support maintenance engineering activities and capital projects. Promote safe work practices, teamwork, and adherence to standard operating procedures. Ensure compliance with plant safety programs, Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, and United States Department of Agriculture requirements. Manage maintenance labor costs, overtime, and departmental expenses. Purchase maintenance supplies and parts with a focus on quality and cost effectiveness. Drive continuous improvement in maintenance operations and production line efficiency. Ingredients Required for Your Success High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline preferred. Three or more years of maintenance experience preferred. Prior supervisory experience required. Experience interpreting safety rules, blueprints, schematics, manuals, and procedures. Experience preparing reports, documentation, and employee evaluations. Strong communication skills with employees and cross‑functional partners. Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, reliability practices, and electronic and electrical principles. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
