Director, Trade Operations

About the role

The Director of Trade Operations reports to the Vice President of Trade Relations and is responsible for supporting all trade operation activities. This function is critical to effective operations of the group and the achievement of sales and margin targets. Works closely with Market Access and Strategic Accounts, Legal, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service. The Director, Trade Operations, will provide the Vice President of Trade Relations with account-level analytics & insights, operational support, and representation of the Trade Department with key cross-functional business partners.

Responsibilities

• JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate with external supply chain to the management of product shipment logistics, inventory levels, and other related outbound activity issues relating to distribution; act as the point person with the buyers
• and customer service; drive effective operations with wholesaler stocking, identifying areas of opportunities and efficiencies; provide smooth logistics, positive customer experience and effective issue resolution
• Support key internal stakeholder teams with analysis of customer utilization data to ensure all aspects of customer interaction and contract compliance are in place to maintain the proper service levels required to provide access of all Azurity's products to patients who need them
• Develop financial models, analytical tools, and business presentations as needed to support Trade related projects
• Effectively direct and execute the monitoring of trade account level data and provide internal teams with insight to shape overall business strategies
• Review customer inventory levels for all Azurity NDC's via Azurity's selected data aggregator and internal inventory reports; monitor trends and provide timely demand vs. supply analysis for areas of concern with customer and/or product inquiries
• Direct and manage the wholesaler segment in supporting internal operational functions, including management of ordering patterns and shipping changes due to holidays, end of quarter and end of year; optimize allocation of inventory to appropriate inventory levels across the wholesale channel
• Support Trade Operations with timely up to date tracking of DSA contractual terms, payments and ROI; assist in modeling and analytics of potential contracts for proposals. Trade contract negotiation, review and execution within the approved strategy and guidelines and terms
