About the role

You will serve as an ELECTRONICS MECHANIC WORK LEADER in the FRCSE MRO PRODUCTION DEPT PROD LINES DIV of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST. Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements and screen out listed below. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: The ability to lead, pass information and instructions received from the supervisor to shop personnel and ensures compliance with procedures to meet deadlines, including complete repairs and test complex electronic systems and equipment containing electronic devices such as circuit cards, resistors, capacitors, transistors, diodes, relays, and transformers; Use of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), mechanical measuring devices, jigs, and fixtures; Knowledge of hazardous materials, work process directives and instructions such as Tool Control, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) and Electro Static Discharge (ESD); perform troubleshooting analysis of entire electronic systems and related equipment, isolate faults, and apply technical data while using test equipment ranging from common test equipment to depot peculiar test stations. Work with others providing technical assistance, training and guidance to personnel as required or assigned.
