Job Summary: Job Description: PayPal, Inc. seeks Sr Specialist, Integration Partner in Scottsdale, AZ Job Duties: Provide technical guidance to merchants and developers in their implementation of PayPal's payment processing solutions {1st and 3rd party), APls {Application Programming Interfaces), and commerce products. Ensure merchants implement PayPal's payment processing solutions with a high degree of quality and use optimal integration strategies and techniques. Identify, troubleshoot, and run test scenarios for technical issues with PayPal code, software, hardware, devices and endpoints, and communicate fixes or workarounds for an issue. Generate and review in-depth technical information {Sample code, white papers, FAQs, Snippets) for distribution to PayPal merchants. Serve as a knowledgeable resource to provide technical business solutions to merchants and developers, and to address PayPal product questions with PayPal Sales departments. Give presentations to audiences of varying sizes {in-person and over the phone). Attend meetings and take on leader role as point of contact or stakeholder for projects. Participate in the development of software tools, systems and processes aimed at improving product supportability and overall support productivity. Advise management and appropriate groups on support issues which impact customer satisfaction and provide recommendations for appropriate actions. Consult with external clients to understand their business priorities, operational challenges, and technical infrastructure, and propose technical solutions which solve for their needs. Monitor payment gateway processor switches by reviewing accounts, flagging potential issues, and flipping payment processors. Define, design, and implement complex, multi-tier distributed software applications. Help build performance efficient, highly scalable, configurable, and available software systems. Identify and fix performance, scalability, and other software live issues in a very time critical environment. Design, develop, and test high throughput back-end software systems. Identify and make recommendations to reduce software architecture development project risks. Segment and design technical system layers to support componentized and layered software application development, including business logic functionality and database/component repository access. Help develop software code and participate in code review sessions. Perform exploratory data analysis to understand the correlation between target product performance and platform integration features.
