Continued in Duties In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, GS-0201. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE (GS-07): Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-05, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes experience assisting/supporting in a human resources office, completing and reviewing a variety of human resources forms for relevance and accuracy, applying human resources principles, and practices to advise on and/or resolve non-complex, non-controversial, well-precedent factual, procedural, and/ or recurring issues. OR EDUCATION: Successfully completed at least one (1) full year of graduate level education or have superior academic achievement. (NOTE: You must submit your transcripts.) Ability to work as a member of a team SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE (GS-09): Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes experience in planning, developing, and carrying out position classification such as determining title, pay plan/pay schedule, series, grade level/pay band, skill codes, and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) coverage AND position management advisory services. OR EDUCATION: Successfully completed a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs) (GS-09): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of fundamental Federal HR classification and position management principles, policies, practices, methods, and analytical techniques. Ability to gather and analyze facts and draw conclusions from information; and to communicate information clearly, orally and in writing. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE (GS-11): Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-09, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes knowledge of Federal HR classification and position management concepts, principles, methods, practices, programs, and techniques sufficient to accomplish a wide range of complex, interrelated activities and resolve classification issues which often require the making of fine distinctions in the proper crediting of factor levels and allocation of grade levels to positions. OR EDUCATION: Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
