Responsibilities

  • Here's what we're looking for:
  • An Irish National Framework Qualification Level 8 (Honours Degree) or higher in Civil Engineering or related discipline. International applicants will hold an equivalent Degree recognised by the International Engineering Alliance (from a signatory of the Washington Accord).
  • 3+ years' experience in construction
  • Experience in engineering/management on large-scale multidisciplinary railway or similar infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge and experience of construction contracts.
  • MIEI, MCIOB or MICE (or equivalent/working towards)
  • associated commercial strategies for large-scale projects.

Join our team and help shape the future of transport through complex, high-impact national infrastructure from concept through to commissioning. Your Role & Responsibilities : The Site Supervisor supports the Construction Manager by providing site-based input throughout the full project lifecycle to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant construction delivery and commissioning During the pre-construction phase, the role holder will contribute to the Reference Design by providing input on constructability, methodology, and phasing. At the tender stage, they will assist in the assessment of submissions. During construction and commissioning, the Site Supervisor will ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, act as the primary liaison with contractors, and maintain transparent communication. The role includes assessing changes, engaging with stakeholders, and working collaboratively with contractors to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
