Dead by Daylight is one of the largest live multiplayer games in the world, and after a decade of continuous growth, we are looking for a Senior Director of Quality Assurance to lead the evolution of our quality strategy for the years ahead. In this role, you will own the end-to-end QA vision, strategy, and execution across all platforms and releases, ensuring that every Chapter, event, patch, and hotfix meets the highest standards of quality, stability, and player experience. You will lead a multidisciplinary QA organization, modernize processes and tooling, and work closely with leaders across Production, Tech, Design, Live Operations, and Publishing to make quality a shared responsibility throughout the studio. In this role you will: Define and execute the long-term QA vision, strategy, standards, and best practices for the game, evolving quality processes, release pipelines, tooling and automation, and methodologies to support the future growth of the game. Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary QA organization spanning functional, automation, performance, certification, multiplayer, and live operations testing, while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Establish measurable quality goals, release criteria, and KPIs, leveraging data, telemetry, player feedback, and operational insights to improve release quality, stability, efficiency, and player trust. Oversee QA operations, including resource planning, budgeting, organizational design, vendor management, test planning, risk management, certification strategy, and release readiness across all supported platforms. Partner closely with Production, Design, Technical Directors, Live Operations, Publishing, and Player Support to integrate quality objectives throughout development and champion shift-left testing practices. Drive innovation and continuous improvement across QA processes, automation, tooling, and reporting, while serving as the primary advocate for player experience, game stability, performance, fairness, and overall product quality.
